I hate hospitals

I just spent 4 hours in the emegency room of a hospital. Actually, I spent 21/2 hours in the waiting room and 11/2 waiting in the emergency room.
I can't help but think how much faster things would go if they did not have to do all the extra tests. Doctors seem to spend more time just trying to keep from getting sued. So many of the tests are rudundant but are needed just to say "we checked as much as possible, yes, you have ******." Which is what the nurse thought when you came in.
I am not anti doctor. I just think that we should let them be doctors and not lawyers.

Nehews and Nieces

Nephews and nieces are so much fun!
Yesterday one my neice was at my work for a few minutes. She is only a year and a half old. It is so cute how she is learning to talk. She is also still a little bit uncoordinated in walking and it is fun to watch her as she has to be careful when she walks.
I have a nephew that was her age last time I saw him. He was just as cute. It has been a year since I have seen him because they live in another country. I hate to think how much I have missed.
I am not a parent. I wonder if parents truly appreciate their own children and how much fun they are to us uncles and aunts. Maybe that's the advantage of being an uncle.

I hate mornings

Actually, I just hate trying to wake up in the morning.
I personally believe the best way to see the sun rise is stay up and wait for it. Followed by a 12 hour nap.
I tend to like working at night.
It seems that I am just getting started on my personal projects around midnight. This is why I have such a hard time with mornings.
I just hope the lack of sleep does not catch up with me someday
