One of the scariest things that happened to me was when my grandma was in insulin shock from diabetes. Try to learn the sypmptoms of diabetes so you can help prevent some of the health problems associated with it.

Nehews and Nieces

Nephews and nieces are so much fun!
Yesterday one my neice was at my work for a few minutes. She is only a year and a half old. It is so cute how she is learning to talk. She is also still a little bit uncoordinated in walking and it is fun to watch her as she has to be careful when she walks.
I have a nephew that was her age last time I saw him. He was just as cute. It has been a year since I have seen him because they live in another country. I hate to think how much I have missed.
I am not a parent. I wonder if parents truly appreciate their own children and how much fun they are to us uncles and aunts. Maybe that's the advantage of being an uncle.
